Hillyfielders are very proud of our continued success on the playing field - and this is now showing dividends for the club. We are very proud to report that we have had 4 of our players selected for the U11 Selkent league represenative squad. This is the maximum allowed from any one team and is a real feather in the cap for the club.
HILLYFIELDERS FOOTBALL CLUB HOST AN OPEN TO ALL TRAINING POLICY FROM U7 -U10 ( that is year 1 to yr 5 in school terms ) U11,12 &13 need to contact the club first. TRAINING takes place on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m at Honor Oak Park, Honor Oak Rd, SE23. All are welcome -- Boys and Girls. £3.00 on the day no membership required.
The park entrance is situated approx 100 metres north of the Honor Oak Park rail station on the same side of the road going up the hill.
Some of the coaches also manage our Sunday teams all whom play in the SELKENT league . Currently the club has 10 teams paricipating in the SELKENT league including U14, U13, U12, U11x2, U10x2, U9, U8 and U7 teams.
If you are intersted in developing your football whatever your ability or you have thought about joining a team just come along on a Saturday morning. Registrations for players closed at the end of Feb - a rule set by the league.
Anyone else attending training that is interested in joining teams make yourself known as new registrations can be made for next season.
Sunday home matches are played at another venue - Summerhouse Playing Fields on the Lewisham Bromley border. We are pleased to state our pitches are some of the best in the league.

Sunday games. Please note the parking restrictions on the approach road to the pitches. Please do not park beyond the blue sign at the beginning of Ravensbourne Avenue. In early February we had an injury which required an ambulance to get through to the pitch - this is the main reason we need to observe parking restrictions - we are also under an obligation to keep this road available to local residents as well as to allow access for the emergency services.

Debbie and her tea wagon offering hot drinks and bacon sandwiches is in attendance every Sunday.
We need some volunteers to help marshall the grounds on a Sunday.
Our main challenge is with car parking. LB Lewisham are forbidding any parking on the section of Ravensbourne Avenue leading to the entrance to the ground. The car park is not yet operational and when it is, we may be able to improve on this parking ban in Ravensbourne Avenue. Everyone is asked to co-operate and wherever you can please let your visiting teams know of this restriction.

Club meetings. We hold club meetings on a monthly basis. This usually follows the monthly SELKENT league meeting as this improves communication within the club.
As well as team and management team representatives, we welcome all parents and guardians of our players to attend. Details of the venue will be confirmed prior to each meeting please just ask someone connected with the club at Saturday training.

He is the founder member of the club and we are all grateful for what he has done. The management team of the club wish him every success as he continues with his soccer school.

The club is always looking for good coaches to assist with the growing numbers of kids at Saturday morning training , if you or someone you know maybe interested please contact us. The club is in a position to help develop coaches.

All those involved in the running of the club started off as keen parents, there is much to do and if you think you could assist in any way we would like to hear from you . Without the good will of those people Hillyfielders Football Club like many other children's clubs would not be able to continue.
The club is financially stable and wants to continue developing grassroots football in the community. As part of the community why not become involved.
